The Main House dating from 1759, was built of granite and oak as a ‘gentleman’s’ mansion for the then lawyer of the area. In the lounge, the impressive stone fireplace has been enhanced with a log burning stove though care has been taken to preserve the original appearance of the room which includes the original oak beams.
The kitchen of the main house has been refurbished to a high standard and this is also reflected in the kitchen of the Gîte.

The beams in the
main bedroom, despite the addition of modern wardrobes, preserve a feeling of grandeur in this striking room. Two other double bedrooms are also available for Bed and Breakfast.

A 13th Century Church is adjacent which gives the house ‘listed’ status.

Lime Tree House stands within a dry stone walled garden of approximately one acre which is mostly lawn.

The heated swimming pool is shared with the owners. It is set in its own a fenced and gated garden, and is available to guests between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. (Special towels are provided for the pool area)  All children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Sorry no pets allowed either in the Gîte or the Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
